1. About the Journal

Frontiers in Emerging Computer Science and Information Technology (FECSIT) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, Open Access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, impactful research that advances knowledge across computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, data systems, and emerging information technologies.

FECSIT provides an inclusive global platform for researchers, computer scientists, software engineers, data analysts, academicians, and IT industry specialists to disseminate original empirical research, critical theoretical insights, algorithmic innovations, and practical software/hardware solutions addressing complex technological challenges.

3. Acceptable Article Types

FECSIT publishes several distinct categories of scholarly contributions:

  • Original Research Articles: Empirical and computational studies presenting novel algorithms, theoretical frameworks, system implementations, and rigorous experimental evaluations.

  • Review Papers: Critical, systematic, and comprehensive literature reviews, state-of-the-art surveys, and meta-analyses on emerging computer science paradigms.

  • Conceptual & Methodological Papers: Novel architectural frameworks, conceptual models, and innovative software/hardware design methodologies.

  • Case Studies & Applied Systems: In-depth technical analyses of real-world enterprise systems, large-scale deployment challenges, and practical software engineering outcomes.

  • Short Communications & Technical Notes: Brief reports on preliminary experimental results, novel open-source tools, algorithmic improvements, or urgent technological trends.

4. Pre-Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must verify full compliance with the following requirements:

  • Originality: The manuscript represents entirely original work and has not been published previously in any form.

  • Exclusivity: The manuscript is not currently under consideration by any other journal, edited book, or conference platform.

  • Author Approvals: All co-authors have reviewed, approved, and explicitly agreed to the submission of the final manuscript version.

  • Ethical Compliance: Necessary institutional ethics board approvals, data protection compliance, and system security integrity standards have been strictly met.

  • Plagiarism & Integrity: The manuscript adheres to the journal's Publication Ethics and maintains a similarity index below the acceptable journal threshold (<15% overall, excluding references and standard technical terminology).

5. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

A. General Formatting

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format only.

  • Language: Academic English (clear, concise, and grammatically correct).

  • Font & Size: Times New Roman, 12 pt size.

  • Line Spacing: 1.5 line spacing throughout the entire document.

  • Margins: Standard 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides.

  • Page Numbers: Consecutive numbering centered at the bottom of each page.

B. Recommended Manuscript Structure

Title Page

  • Concise and informative manuscript title.

  • Full names, affiliations, city, and country of all authors.

  • Active ORCID iDs for all authors.

  • Corresponding author’s email address (editor@irjernet.com / author email) and contact details.

Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract: A structured or unstructured summary between 150–250 words covering background, core technical problem, proposed methodology/algorithm, key experimental findings, and practical applications.

  • Keywords: 4 to 6 relevant technical keywords reflecting the primary subjects of the research.

Main Body Structure (IMRaD)

  • Introduction: Problem statement, theoretical context, research gaps, explicit research contributions, and paper organization.

  • Related Work / Theoretical Framework: Literature review grounding the study and identifying technological benchmarks.

  • System Design & Methodology: Detailed system architectures, mathematical formulations, pseudocode, algorithmic logic, experimental setup, datasets used, and evaluation metrics.

  • Results & Experimental Evaluation: Clear presentation of quantitative performance metrics, benchmarking charts, execution times, and comparative statistical outputs.

  • Discussion: Analysis of theoretical and technical contributions, performance tradeoffs, practical industrial implications, limitations, and potential attack/failure vectors.

  • Conclusion: Concise summary of research achievements, future enhancements, and prospective technological directions.

Declarations & Statements

  • Funding Statement: Details of research grants, computational infrastructure support, or financial assistance received.

  • Conflict of Interest Declaration: Disclosure of any personal, financial, or institutional competing interests.

  • Data & Code Availability Statement: Clear explanation of where experimental datasets, source code, or replication packages can be accessed.

  • Acknowledgements: (If applicable) Recognition of technical support, cloud credits, language editing, or institutional backing.

  • References: Formatted strictly in standard academic style (e.g., APA 7th Edition or IEEE format as appropriate). Active Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) must be provided for all references wherever available.

  • Tables & Figures: Embedded directly within the text close to their first mention with descriptive captions, vector clarity, and high resolution.

6. Peer Review & Editorial Process

FECSIT enforces a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to safeguard scientific quality, technical validity, and objectivity:

  1. Initial Desk Review: The Editorial Office evaluates submissions for scope alignment, formatting compliance, code/data clarity, and similarity analysis (Turnitin/iThenticate).

  2. Double-Blind Peer Review: Manuscripts meeting desk standards are evaluated by at least two independent domain experts in computer science without revealing author or reviewer identities.

  3. Editorial Decision: Based on reviewer recommendations, the Handling Editor / Editor-in-Chief issues one of five formal decisions:

    • Accept without Revision

    • Minor Revisions Required

    • Major Revisions Required (Subject to mandatory re-evaluation)

    • Reject with Opportunity for Resubmission

    • Reject

7. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

  • Authors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) or LLM tools solely for language translation, basic grammar improvement, or readability refinement.

  • AI tools cannot be listed as an author or co-author under any circumstances, as they do not meet authorship eligibility criteria.

  • Authors must explicitly declare the use of AI tools or automated code generation tools in the Methods or Acknowledgments section and remain 100% accountable for the originality, factual accuracy, system security, and integrity of the content.

8. Open Access, Copyright & APC

  • Open Access: All published articles are made freely and permanently accessible online to readers worldwide immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain 100% full copyright of their published work.

  • Submission Fee: $0 (No charges for submitting or reviewing manuscripts).

  • Article Processing Charges (APC): An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only after formal double-blind peer review and final editorial acceptance to cover typesetting, copyediting, DOI assignment, and permanent archiving. There are no hidden fees.
